Princess is a beautiful brindle Bully Mix with darling white boots and a blaze on her chest. She weighs about 60lbs and was born around March 2017. Princess arrived at the shelter on September 3, 2020, with her six adorable puppies: Fiona, Hans, Merida, Ariel, Aladdin, and Aurora. Thankfully, all her little ones have found their forever homes! Princess was surrendered when her family could no longer care for her and her litter.
Despite her past, Princess has a heart full of love to give. Everyone who meets her is instantly charmed by her, and she was even a "Staff Pick"! She greets everyone with a happy whine and will stand on her hind legs to give you a gentle hug. Now that her mom duties are over, Princess has a renewed zest for life! She adores playing fetch and will chase a ball for hours before happily rolling over for belly rubs. The entire staff has fallen head over heels for this sweet girl, and we know you will too!
"Can you see my beautiful coat? Aren’t I gorgeous? Come see me, and I will wrap you with love! Pay attention to me, and I am your best buddy! I might be a bit much for a small child, but I would be fine with older children that could handle my hugs! I love to go for walks, and I love any attention you give me. Staying in this pen is so hard for me, because I want everyone to come see me, and I tell them so! But don’t let my bark put you off; I love everybody!"
Ideal Home
Princess would be happiest in a home where someone is around most of the time. She would also love a family with older, school-aged children who can appreciate her enthusiastic hugs. Princess has shown she is not a good fit for cats and would likely do best as the only dog in the household. A fenced yard is a must, as she loves to play fetch and run freely.
Ongoing Health
Princess is healthy and has no known ongoing health conditions.
Training & Support
Princess needs ongoing training to master loose-leash walking, but she is a smart and eager-to-please girl with star pupil potential! A couple of sessions with a trainer would provide a solid foundation for her continued success.
