Lucky is a charming 4.5-year-old Lab / Australian Blue Heeler mix, weighing around 55 pounds. He was surrendered by his previous owners in Tennessee and is now looking for a new loving family to call his own. Lucky is an energetic and adventurous companion who would thrive with a family that enjoys spending time outdoors, whether it's on hikes, playing fetch, or simply going for walks. He is also happy to relax and be a couch potato after a fun day. Lucky is affectionate, loving, and incredibly loyal, forming close bonds with his people. He has made friends with other dogs and is curious about meeting children and cats. He has experience with being crated and is house-trained. Given his past as a stray and an injury, he would benefit from an experienced dog person who can provide him with consistent guidance and TLC as he adjusts to new surroundings and routines. Lucky may have a high prey drive, so a home with fewer squirrels might be ideal.
