You would never know little Tallulah is 14 years old, the way she jumps up on the couch and climbs to her favorite perch on top of the seat. Even though she walks like she's a bit arthritic, it doesn't stop her from navigating stairs and following her person all over the house. She travels well in a crate and will sleep in it all night with no issue, although she's rather sleep in the bed with you. She doesn't care much for the leash but will follow her person everywhere, although she'd rather be carried. She doesn't mind being outside as long as her person is with her, but would rather be inside looking out or napping at a sunny window. Tallulah came to rescue in pretty poor body condition. She has skin issues and wonky senior blood values.
Ideal Home
Tallulah would make a fantastic companion for anyone who is home a lot, as she thrives on companionship. She would love another dog to keep her company when her owner is away.
Ongoing Health
Tallulah is taking her oral antibiotics for a wound in her cheek where her tooth was poking through, and is healing nicely. She had to have all her rotted teeth removed, and eats canned or kibble softened in water. She has skin issues and wonky senior blood values. We hope to get her spayed and sorely needed dental as soon as she is healthy enough.
Training & Support
She doesn't care much for the leash but will follow her person everywhere, although she'd rather be carried.
