Milo

Happiness starts with a wet nose and ends with a tail. My name is Milo! I'm an extra special, 8-year-old, 59-pound German Shepherd gentleman, ready to find my forever best friend! I am very smart plus house, crate and leash trained. I know commands like "sit", "down", "come", "potty", "outside", "walk", and "crate". I will let you know I need to go out by putting my nose on the door handle. I like to explore a bit, but I am pretty low energy and love cuddling the most. I have had a difficult past, so I'm overly responsive to quick movements. I am ready to start the next chapter in my life with my bestie!

Ideal Home

I would prefer a home without children, where I could be the center of all your attention. I do get along with cats and female dogs. I forever must have a privacy-fenced yard so I can feel safe and secure. I need an individual who is home most of the time and who needs a loyal, loving companion.

Ongoing Health

I do take some daily medications for anxiety and a spinal issue.

Training & Support

I am house, crate, and leash trained and know several commands. I am overly responsive to quick movements due to my past.

• Applications start by contacting us through Wags.
• Adoption fee is $75 and includes neuter, vaccinations, wellness exam, heartworm test, and microchip.
• We do adopt out of state with vet references and video home check.
• Adopter is responsible for coming to get the dog and returning the dog if the adoption does not work out.

Milo is located in Springfield, MO. We do adopt out of state and adopters are responsible for transportation.
