About Tuxie

Proof You Can Be Handsome and Humble

Tuxie is a distinguished 1-year-old, 50 lbs mixed breed who embodies both handsomeness and humility. Donning a smart black-and-white coat, he's less about schmoozing and more about quality time, whether that's a cozy snuggle or a peaceful nap. Rescued from the streets of Houston, Tuxie transitioned seamlessly into foster life, proving to be an instant charmer with a wagging tail and an open heart. He's a natural socialite, befriending every dog he meets with gentle confidence. His foster siblings, a golden retriever and a pit bull, consider him the ultimate housemate, and for good reason! Tuxie possesses an old soul with a youthful spirit; he's intelligent, eager to please, and a quick study when it comes to new tricks. He's mastering leash manners, "sit," and "fetch," all while perfecting his gentlemanly demeanor. While he's not keen on sharing snacks with squirrels, his prey drive steers him away from small animals and cats. He thrives on a healthy balance of playtime and quiet moments, making him the perfect companion for humans who appreciate both. Tuxie is fully potty-trained, rarely barks, and offers unwavering loyalty in exchange for belly rubs. If you're seeking a companion who's a blend of sweet, devoted, and fun-loving, Tuxie might be the one to bring a lighter touch to your everyday life.
