Benny

Benny is a handsome 4-4.5 year old, 45-50 pound, neutered male Australian Cattle Dog mix with a heart full of love and a spirit ready for adventure! He's incredibly sweet, loves to play, and has a personality that's as fun-loving as it gets. Benny found himself at a rural shelter through no fault of his own, but he's now ready to leave his past behind and leap into a bright future. He's already mastered crate training and is fully potty trained, and he's up-to-date on vaccinations and heartworm negative.

Ideal Home

Benny would be a fantastic addition to an active and playful household. He loves to splash in the pool and could play frisbee for hours – he's a natural! He has a medium energy level, enjoying fun activities without being hyper. He gets along well with medium to large dogs, both male and female, and has even shown a knack for peacemaking if he notices tension. He's also comfortable riding in the car and doesn't suffer from separation anxiety when left alone. Benny would be happy as an only dog or with a compatible canine friend. He is not to be tied out or use an electric fence. Cats are currently unknown.

Ongoing Health

Benny is up-to-date on vaccinations and is heartworm negative.

Training & Support

Benny is crate trained and potty trained. He previously had an issue with improper introductions to another male dog, but in his current environment, he has had no problems playing appropriately with dogs his size or larger.
