Freya

Freya is a gentle and resilient soul who has overcome so much. She arrived at our shelter after giving birth to five puppies, severely emaciated but with a fierce love for her little ones. Her dedication to her babies was incredible, and it's a testament to her spirit that they are now healthy and happy. Watching Freya heal and regain her strength has been a privilege. She greets everyone with a soft tail wag and a hopeful look, always ready to make a new friend. Her simple joy in life is infectious, whether she's playing with her toys or enjoying a peaceful walk by your side. Despite the hardships she's faced, Freya's loving nature never wavers, and she inspires us with her courage and hope.

Ideal Home

A loving and patient home where Freya can continue to heal and feel secure. She may be sensitive to the sun, so limiting her exposure during peak hours and opting for morning/evening walks would be beneficial.

Ongoing Health

Freya has been diagnosed with heartworm and will be starting treatment soon. We will cover all medical expenses related to her heartworm treatment, food, and any other needs she may have. We've also noted she may have sun sensitivity, possibly related to allergies. A sensitive skin diet with limited ingredients and novel proteins (like salmon or fish-based) is recommended to support her coat and minimize irritation.
