Meet Peanut! This 2-year-old, 28-pound sweetheart was rescued from an Alabama highway after a harrowing experience. While initially shy, Peanut has made wonderful progress and her confidence grows each day. She absolutely adores other dogs and would thrive with a confident canine friend to show her the ropes. Peanut can be a little timid around new people, but once she feels safe and comfortable, her goofy, affectionate, and playful personality truly shines through. She enjoys quiet time watching Dog TV, "helping" with laundry, and being close to her favorite humans. Peanut loves to sleep near her people and is still working on her house training. She is good with cats and is looking for a patient and loving family to help her continue building her confidence. If you're searching for a sweet, playful companion, Peanut might just be the perfect match!
