About Finn

Finn is a 7-year-old, 100-pound Lab mix with a heart as big as her full frame. She was born on St. Patrick's Day, making her a lucky charm waiting to bring joy to her forever family! Finn is incredibly smart and eager to please. She knows all her basic commands—sit, stay, down, come, heel, off, and no—and even responds to hand signals! She is currently working on learning "settle" for when her excitement bubbles over. Finn is a wonderful walking companion, confidently enjoying 2-mile walks and doing great on a halti and martingale collar. She has been trained to walk on either side, always keeping safely away from traffic. At home, Finn is full of personality. She quickly learned to use the doggy door and politely "asks" for permission before heading out. One of her cutest habits is greeting you with a toy every time you come home, complete with full-body wiggles and happy chatter. If she can't find a toy, she might grab a shoe, so we are practicing "drop it" to encourage her to proudly place it at your feet. Finn gets along well with other dogs, cats, and people. She is learning to be a calm "community dog" around neighbors and takes her role as household watch dog seriously, keeping an eye on things from her favorite spot at the bottom of the stairs. She is doing well with car rides and will let you know when she needs a break. With a little continued routine, she'll be the perfect travel buddy. Finn is loyal, loving, and delightfully goofy, and she will greet you like you're the best part of her day, every single day!

Ideal Home

A home where Finn can continue to learn and grow into a well-rounded companion. She enjoys greeting people with a toy and may occasionally grab a shoe when excited, so continued "drop it" training will be beneficial.
