Lucy was almost hit on the highway, but thankfully, a kind rescuer saw her and pulled over. Lucy ran straight to her rescuer, and in that moment, it was clear she was meant to be safe. She's a sweet, gentle soul who is incredibly grateful to be out of danger. She was taken to a vet where she was treated for a severe ear infection, spayed, dewormed, and fully vetted. Lucy is a joy to be around, smart, and eager to learn. She picked up potty training in just one day and is already learning commands like "sit."
