Hourglass

Hourglass is a 6-year-old sweetheart who has truly turned a corner. She came to us in May 2026 as a devoted mama, caring for six puppies despite arriving underweight, missing some teeth, and heartworm positive. She was also very nervous, finding the world a bit overwhelming. But her time of struggle is running out, and the sand is finally shifting in her favor. Since her arrival, she has been spayed, started treatment for heartworm, and has learned that human hands can be kind. She's blossomed from a timid girl into a confident companion.

Ideal Home

Hourglass loves all people of every age and all dogs she has met, making her a true social butterfly. She's house-trained and crate-trained like a pro and has found her brave side, no longer being nervous or timid.

Ongoing Health

Hourglass was heartworm positive upon arrival. She has begun doxycycline treatment, and Renegade Paws Rescue will cover the cost of her heartworm treatment.

Training & Support

Hourglass is house-trained and crate-trained. She has shown great progress in gaining confidence and learning to trust humans.
