At just 4 months old, this adorable Pit Terrier/Labrador Retriever mix is already showing what an incredible companion she's going to become. Part of a litter of three, Bellona has a thoughtful, independent personality that sets her apart. She still loves all the fun that comes with being a puppy: playing with her siblings, chasing toys, and cuddling up for naps, but there's something about her that feels just a little wiser. She's observant, eager to learn, and always seems ready for the next challenge! Bellona absolutely loves attention and affection from her people, but she's also confident enough to entertain herself when needed. She has a wonderful balance of independence and companionship, making her the perfect puppy for someone looking for a dog that's both playful and easy to spend time with!
Ideal Home
Bellona is working on keeping all four paws on the ground when she's excited, so families with young children should be prepared to continue reinforcing polite manners and supervised interactions. She has not been introduced to cats, so slow, supervised introductions would be recommended.
Ongoing Health
Bellona is up to date on all vetting, including DAPP with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, and flea prevention. She has been spayed and will receive a 12-month heartworm preventative injectable.
Training & Support
Bellona is incredibly food motivated, making training both enjoyable and rewarding. She already knows how to sit and has learned "paw," "lay down," and "stay." She is doing an amazing job with potty training and crate training, following a structured routine. Like many puppies, she's working on impulse control, especially around meal times, and has made wonderful progress. She benefits from structure, guidance, and positive reinforcement as she continues developing good manners.

Bellona is located in Texas and can be transported to WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada. Transport is available via our rescue run USDA certified transport system.
