Prince

Prince is an about 4-year-old Miniature Australian Shepherd with a heart of gold. He's a bit shy at first, but once he feels comfortable, he blossoms into an incredibly loving and affectionate companion. Prince enjoys walks and playing fetch, and he's highly food-motivated, which makes training a breeze! He's intelligent and eager to learn, especially when a tasty treat is involved. Prince was unfortunately subjected to neglect and mistreatment in a previous home. After being returned to us, he's been making great progress, but he still struggles with reactivity and fear-based aggression. We've been working with him for about a year and a half, but our multi-dog household can't provide the one-on-one attention he truly deserves to continue his healing journey and build confidence.

Ideal Home

Prince would thrive in a quiet home with a single person or a couple without children or other pets. An experienced owner who is familiar with herding breeds and can dedicate time to consistent training and socialization will be the perfect match for him.

Ongoing Health

Prince is up-to-date on vaccinations and deworming, has had a vet check, and is generally healthy with no known issues.

Training & Support

Prince is currently working on building confidence, improving his neutrality around new environments and stimuli, and muzzle training as a safety measure. He is crate trained and comfortable being left alone in his crate. Consistent training and structure are key to his success.
