Meet August! This silly, 3-4 year old pittie mix girl has never met a stranger. She came to us from a local vet clinic where she was abandoned over a year ago. August is a total beefcake who gets the silliest zoomies and is a total sucker for a belly rub. She loves to run around and play, and she's very food motivated. We promised August that the rest of her life would be the best of her life. Could that be with you?

August gets along with other dogs, though she is a dominant girl and prefers more submissive friends.

August works hard on her leash skills and manners, and would benefit from continued positive reinforcement training.

August is located in South Carolina, and transport to the northeast is available weekly. Applicants not located along the East Coast should be willing to travel to pick up their pet. We provide local or virtual meet-and-greets with an application on file.
