Duke is a sleek, handsome 38-pound pup who looks like a blend of Pointer and Border Collie. He's the perfect medium size, sturdy enough for a hike but compact enough to share your bed. Duke is a smart, loving companion who aims to be your ultimate hang-out buddy, offering moral support and happy tail wags. He's a gold star student in potty training and crate training, and has been a gentle and patient soul with children as young as six months old. Duke is also a social butterfly with other dogs, from tiny Shih Tzus to a giant Great Pyrenees. He loves a good game of chase and would thrive in a home with a canine sibling.
Ideal Home
Duke dreams of having his own fenced-in yard where he can run and play. A quiet neighborhood with plenty of sniffing opportunities would be his paradise. He's not a fan of busy apartment living with its noisy hallways and elevators. While he's great with dogs and children, his feelings about cats are unknown, and a "kitty slumber party" would be arranged to ensure a harmonious introduction.
Ongoing Health
Duke is a healthy pup with no current health concerns mentioned.
Training & Support
Duke is a pro at crate training and is already reliably potty trained. He thrives on positive reinforcement and would likely enjoy continuing his training journey.
