Poncho

Meet Poncho, a charming 4-year-old dog looking for his forever leader. Poncho was a backyard dog in his previous life and is now ready for a home that will provide him with guidance and consistency. He takes about 30 seconds for a slow introduction to warm up to new people, so a home with fewer daily visitors and less constant entertainment would be ideal for him.

Ideal Home

Poncho would thrive in a home that can provide him with leadership and routine. He does best with a quieter environment, so a home without a lot of constant house guests or activity would be a great fit. He's not a fan of cats and we are looking for a home without young children. Poncho is dog selective but can do wonderfully with the right canine companion, whether male or female, small or large.

Ongoing Health

Poncho comes with a lifetime supply of flea, tick, and heartworm preventive, as well as his favorite dog food, and his first two years of free yearly vaccines and vet exams.

Training & Support

Poncho has received extensive training and knows many good manners, including leash walking, waiting for his dinner, sitting politely, and staying in place. He's ready to continue his journey with a loving family.
