Tiga

Hi there! I'm Tiga, but my foster mom calls me Rufio, after the cool, sweet, and a little wild character from Hook. I'm a Pittie/Shepherd mix with big paws, floppy ears, and some seriously athletic hops. I came into rescue with my littermates, but now I'm learning how to be a good boy all on my own and I'm crushing it! I'm sweet, playful, and a little clumsy in a charming way. I love to follow the bigger dogs around and copy everything they do – they clearly know what's up!

Ideal Home

I'd thrive in a home with another dog (or dogs!) to play with and show me the ropes. An active family who is up for training, playing, and lots of cuddles when I'm all tuckered out would be amazing. If you have the patience to raise a pup and the heart to love a goofball like me, I promise to bring the fun, the love, and maybe even some adventure!

I'm still a puppy, so I'm working on learning all the things!

Training & Support

I'm crushing the potty and kennel training and doing great for my age, but puppies take time, patience, and lots of praise. Don't skimp on the treats! Sometimes I chomp on things I shouldn't, but my foster mom is teaching me that toys are way more fun than fingers, shoes, or my foster dad's beard. I live with a whole crew of dogs right now and I LOVE them! I play, wrestle, try to make them snuggle me, and learn my best moves by watching them. My favorite thing in the world is running around with the pack, then crashing in a puppy pile.
