Meet Bently!
This handsome six-and-a-half-year-old American Pitbull Terrier is a gentle soul with a striking white coat and warm golden patches. Weighing in at around 55 pounds, Bently is a medium-sized boy who carries himself with sweet confidence and has a way of melting hearts with his unforgettable eyes. He's grown into a devoted companion who perfectly balances playful energy with deep affection. Bently absolutely adores children and happily engages with grandkids, readily joining in games of tug with his favorite rope and soaking up all the fun and giggles. He truly lights up when invited to play and is always ready to trade a game for some loving belly rubs – cuddles are definitely one of his specialties, and he leans in close to show just how affectionate he is. Receiving attention is Bently's love language, and he thrives when surrounded by people who enjoy showering him with pets and praise.
Ideal Home
Bently would thrive in a home filled with companionship and structure where he can receive plenty of attention. He enjoys playing with children and is happy to engage in games.
Ongoing Health
Bently's vaccinations are up to date. He will be required to be neutered prior to placement in his new home.
Training & Support
While Bently knows "sit" and "come here," he hasn't attended formal training classes. He would benefit greatly from positive reinforcement and new learning opportunities. Bently was house-trained in the past, but after spending time in an outdoor space, his indoor routines are unknown. With consistency, encouragement, and gentle guidance, he can relearn and adjust beautifully. He is neutral around other dogs and would need thoughtful introductions to get used to canine companions again. He has tended to keep his distance from cats in the past.
