Benji

Benji is a uniquely adorable mixed breed, an interesting "accidental" combination between a husky mom and a shih tzu/pomeranian dad. He looks more like a giant Westie, weighing 42lbs full grown and a little over a year old. With his expressive eyes, scruffy whiskers, and alert quizzical expressions, he might look like a movie star, but he's actually more of an introvert and wouldn't enjoy fame. He wasn't socialized much outside of his previous household, so he can be skittish around new people and situations. However, once he feels safe and comfortable, he's a sweet and playful guy who's still a puppy at heart. He loves other dogs and feels much safer in their presence, so a home with another doggie buddy is a must for him. Benji does shed and would not be suitable for allergy sufferers.

Benji needs a home with another dog to help him feel secure. He would not be suitable for allergy sufferers due to shedding.

Benji has been neutered and is updated on his shots.

Training & Support

Benji can be skittish with new people and situations due to limited socialization. He will need patience and understanding to build his confidence. He thrives when he has another dog companion.
