Meet Conrad!

This sweet 9-year-old German Shorthaired Pointer is a calm and gentle soul who weighs about 55 lbs. Conrad was found as a stray and is now at our rescue, Imagine FURever Ranch, where he's been winning everyone over with his mellow personality. He enjoys leisurely walks, napping in sunbeams, and is wonderful on a leash. Conrad is also great with other dogs and people of all ages. His only quirk? He can't resist a good tennis ball and might just sneak them all!

Ideal Home

Conrad would thrive in a home where he can enjoy quiet walks and plenty of cozy naps. He's already shown he's great with other dogs and people, so he'd likely do well in many home environments.

Ongoing Health

Conrad is a special needs senior. He has Cushing's disease and a grade 5 heart murmur, both of which are being managed with medication and veterinary care. Prospective adopters should be prepared for the ongoing financial commitment for his medications. He also has mild arthritis.

Training & Support

Conrad is already well-behaved on leash and good with others. His main "training" need will be ensuring he gets his daily medications and a loving environment to enjoy his golden years.
