DERP*

Buffay is a party in a dog's body! This wobbly, unique little dude has completely charmed everyone he's met. He’s got a look to match his personality: a slight parrot mouth, a tongue that’s often sticking out, and a zig-zag walk that sometimes results in him tripping over his own paws. We don’t know exactly why he’s so wonky, but it only adds to his irresistible charm. Buffay is incredibly sweet and loves to melt right into you. He enjoys the company of other animals, does great with cats, and ignores livestock. He’s food motivated, comfortable in his crate, and doing well with potty training—though he may need a little extra time and patience to fully get the hang of it. He rides great in the car and is learning to walk on leash.

Ideal Home

Buffay is a young pup who is still learning boundaries and doesn’t quite understand personal space yet. Because his body language can be a bit awkward, slow introductions to other dogs are important, as some dogs may find him a little overwhelming at first. A patient, understanding home is essential to help him grow.

Buffay is a young pup who was recently neutered.

Training & Support

Buffay is still learning to walk on leash and is working on potty training. Like any puppy, he’s still got that “baby derp brain” and will need continued patience and guidance.
