Mabel is a 2.5-year-old, 64-pound Pit Bull mix who is spayed and vaccinated. She was found abandoned and scared but has blossomed into a sweet, affectionate girl who adores people. Mabel loves to snuggle, give kisses, go for car rides, and soak up all the attention. She's a happy and outgoing dog who is wonderful with children, showing particular patience and sweetness with an autistic boy. Mabel enjoys playing with other medium to large dogs and is making progress with her leash manners, though she can get excited when meeting other dogs on walks. She would likely do well with a playful, tolerant dog companion or as the only pet in the home. She would likely do best in a home without cats. Mabel is not destructive when left unsupervised and prefers to sleep near her humans. She appreciates extra patience during vet visits and is not a fan of crates, preferring to sleep with her people.
