Romeo

Romeo’s story is truly incredible. He spent six harrowing months in one of Florida's highest-kill shelters, even requiring emergency surgery due to an embedded harness. Thankfully, he's now fully healed and ready to start his new life in a loving forever home! He’s been living in a foster home where he’s shown us he’s wonderful with children and adults. Romeo is also good with some dogs, but can be a bit selective. As a smart pointer mix who miraculously escaped death row in Miami Dade, he has a high prey drive.

We recommend no small dogs or cats for Romeo, as he is selective with other pets.

Romeo has fully recovered from his emergency surgery.

Training & Support

Romeo is a very smart dog with a high prey drive. Guidance will be needed to help him channel this energy appropriately.
