Petey

Petey is a young, energetic boy who arrived at about a year old. He absolutely loves year-round walking, whether it's in the snow or warm weather! Petey is a fantastic walker and stays right by your side without any pulling. He's currently learning hand signals and eye contact, as he is presumed to be deaf.

Ideal Home

Petey is still working on his introductions to strangers, but with new training using tug toys and treats, he's building confidence. He seems to do well with some playful dogs, but may be too much for smaller dogs. He shows his interest in other dogs with a play bow or by lying down.

Ongoing Health

Petey is presumed deaf and is working with hand signals and eye contact as part of his training.

Training & Support

Petey is learning to greet new people with calm confidence and is being trained with tug toys and treats. He needs continued positive reinforcement to help him with introductions to strangers.
