Hi, I'm Acadia! I'm a 1-year-old Australian Shepherd/Staffordshire mix with the perfect blend of playful energy and cuddly sweetness. I love exploring the yard, sniffing all the new smells, and then curling right up next to my people for snuggles afterward. I'm a curious, affectionate girl who enjoys being part of whatever's going on. I'm a little more outgoing than my best friend Denali, but I'm still very gentle and loving. I'm friendly with people, calm around other dogs, and always happy to greet you with a wag and a little nuzzle. I already know "sit" and I'm learning new commands quickly—especially if treats are involved! I'm also working on my leash manners and gaining confidence every day. I'm crate trained, doing great with routines, and making awesome progress with potty training. I can sometimes be a little nervous in new situations, but I warm up quickly and love having reassurance from the people I trust. I'm mostly quiet, though I may give a bark or two when I hear something exciting or unfamiliar—just enough to keep life interesting. Most importantly, I'm deeply bonded with my best friend Denali. She helps me feel grounded, and I help bring out her playful side. We balance each other perfectly, and I would absolutely love to be adopted with her.
Ideal Home
My ideal home would be loving, patient, and ready for two sweet girls who just want companionship, cozy naps, and a safe place to belong. We'd thrive in a calm home with gentle routines, lots of affection, and maybe a yard to explore together.
Ongoing Health
I am heartworm positive. All my vetting, including spay, microchip, and vaccines, is up to date.
Training & Support
I know "sit" and am learning new commands quickly, especially with treats. I'm working on my leash manners and gaining confidence.
