About Jett

Jett is a gentle, loving soul with the sweetest heart and the softest eyes. This gentle boy may be a little timid at first, but underneath that cautious exterior is one of the most affectionate, playful, and eager-to-please pups you could ever hope to meet. He is completely housebroken and walks well on leash after his initial excitement. Jett absolutely adores praise, cuddles, and belly scratches. Tell him "good boy" and you can practically see his whole heart light up. He lives for affection and wants nothing more than to love and be loved by his people. Jett's mother was killed by another dog when she gave birth. A rescue saved the puppies and bottle-fed them for weeks. After they were bottle-fed, Best Friend Pet Adoption admitted two of the puppies, Jett and Jax. Jax has been adopted, and now Jett is looking for his forever home. Can you provide a wonderful home for him?

Ideal Home

Jett would do best in a calmer home with older children or adults who understand that trust is something earned gently and patiently. Fast movements and loud toddler energy can overwhelm him. He gets along well with other dogs once he’s had a chance to settle in, and we think a confident canine sibling could really help show him the ropes and continue building his confidence. He’s also been neutral around cats. A fenced yard would be a bonus since he loves to run fast, but it’s not a must.

Ongoing Health

There are no ongoing health concerns mentioned for Jett.

Training & Support

Jett is completely housebroken and walks well on leash after his initial excitement. Like many sensitive dogs, Jett takes a little time to warm up to new people and unfamiliar situations. His timidness can truly tug at your heartstrings, but watching him slowly gain confidence is incredibly rewarding. He watches, learns, and blossoms a little more every day.
