Monty

Monty is a smart, energetic, and affectionate young dog with a swagger that will charm anyone he meets! This handsome boy came to us from Texas, where he was living on the streets, and he's now loving life as a house dog. He's kennel-trained and house-trained, though he's not a fan of going into his kennel, he settles down nicely once inside. Monty thrives on being part of the family and enjoys all the love and attention that comes with it. He does exceptionally well with other dogs and absolutely adores his trips to daycare, where he has a blast and makes new friends. If you're looking for an active companion who loves to learn and is ready to be your loyal buddy, Monty is your guy!

Ideal Home

Monty would thrive in an active home where he can get plenty of daily walks and enrichment. He is not a good fit for homes with indoor cats, as he does enjoy a good chase.

Ongoing Health

Monty's adoption fee includes his first year of vaccinations, including Lyme, Lepto, and flu vaccines (which can be made available upon request).

Training & Support

Monty is a smart pup who loves to learn and is eager to please. He is house-trained and kennel-trained. Continuing his socialization and providing him with daily exercise will help him continue to thrive.
