Meet Summit, a handsome Elkhound/Australian Cattle Dog mix who is as intelligent as he is driven! Summit is a working dog through and through, thriving on structure, direction, and a job to do. He's incredibly smart and eager to learn, with a strong foundation in training thanks to the generous donation from Mitten State Dog Training. Summit is looking for a confident leader who can continue his training with consistency and routine.

Ideal Home

Summit is best suited for an experienced individual or couple who understands the unique needs of high-drive, working breeds. Due to his intensity, he is not recommended for a home with children or other animals.

Ongoing Health

Summit is neutered and vaccinated.

Training & Support

Summit has a strong foundation in training and is eager to learn. He needs a consistent and confident leader to continue his development. His herding instincts and mouthiness are notable traits.
