Willow

Willow is a delightful 1-year-old, possibly Ridgeback and Shepherd mix, with a heart full of sweetness and a playful spirit! She's got that wonderful young-dog energy and would love to learn some new tricks. While she can get a bit stressed and is becoming more selective with other dogs, she truly enjoys having a playful canine friend during yard time. Her feelings about cats are still a bit of a mystery, so a slow and thoughtful introduction would be the best approach.

Willow has a zest for staying active, but she also has a softer side. Once she's had a chance to burn off some energy, she settles down nicely. A key thing to know about Willow is that she's not a fan of kennel time and can be quite vocal when confined. However, the moment she's out and with her people, she transforms into a happy, affectionate dog who's eager to be involved in everything you're doing! As a larger girl, Willow is still working on her leash manners and can pull when excited, but she's already showing great progress and will continue to improve with consistent guidance.

Willow would thrive in a home that offers structure, plenty of exercise, and lots of love.

Willow has been spayed and vaccinated.

Training & Support

Willow can pull on the leash when excited and is working on her leash manners. She is also becoming dog selective and her interactions with cats are unknown. She is not a fan of kennel time.
