Pickles

This sweet girl is settling beautifully into foster life and discovering just how wonderful life indoors can be. She's affectionate, people-oriented, and happiest when she can be close to her family. Whether she's soaking up attention, joining you for a walk, or simply relaxing nearby, Pickles is always happy to be part of the action. When she was found, Pickles was doing everything she could to care for her two puppies despite having very little herself. Now that her babies are safe, it's finally Pickles' turn to be cared for, spoiled, and loved.

Ideal Home

Pickles would enjoy having another dog in the home to help show her the ropes, but she's confident enough to thrive as an only dog as well. She has been wonderful with her foster family's young children and older dog, showing off her gentle, easygoing nature.

Ongoing Health

Pickles is a smaller adult dog who will likely remain in the 20-pound range once she reaches a healthy weight. Her foster family is helping her regain strength with plenty of nutritious meals, treats, and love. Despite being underweight when she arrived, her spirit has remained bright, and she is blossoming more each day.

Training & Support

Pickles walks nicely on a leash, is already doing a great job going to the bathroom outside, and settles quietly in her crate at night. Unlike a young puppy, Pickles has already outgrown many of the more challenging puppy habits. She doesn't spend her days chewing on everything in sight and instead enjoys simply being a loving companion.

Pickles is currently in a foster home in Georgia and can be transported to the Wags transport hub in Maryland.
