Denali is a tenderhearted 1-year-old, 17.6 lb youngster who is sensitive, affectionate, and eager to belong. He arrived with a group of unclaimed dogs, confused but hopeful. Denali warms up quickly and loves gentle reassurance. He’s playful, smart, and ready to grow into the loyal companion he’s meant to be. He would thrive with someone who enjoys a soft, sweet shadow at their side.

Transporation

Dogs originate in Eastern Washington, where they are vetted. After vetting, dogs are transferred to foster homes in Pierce, King, and Snohomish Counties. Many are adopted before they reach their foster homes. We meet pre-approved adopters in Ellensburg to keep transport manageable and fair. If you cannot drive to Ellensburg, we will do our best to arrange a volunteer driver to meet you in your Western WA city.

• Western WA adopters: Approved adopters will meet in Ellensburg within the next 1–2 weeks. Volunteer hand‑offs closer to the new home may be available if travel is difficult.
• Eastern WA adopters: Approved adopters may meet in Moses Lake, Quincy or Omak.
