Murphy is quite simply a wonderful dog. He's easy to love, easy to live with, and full of gentle gratitude. At 10 years old, he's mellow, affectionate, and full of quiet charm. Saying goodbye to him will be hard - he's been such a joy to foster - but we know he deserves the very best forever home.
Murphy's favorite pastime is relaxing. He's the ultimate couch potato, happiest when curled up nearby or snoozing peacefully. But don't let his laid-back vibe fool you - he still has a playful side! He loves a good game of ball, which is a great way to bond and help him burn off a little energy. When it's time to go outside, Murphy often surprises us with a burst of zoomies before settling back into his calm routine. He's fully housebroken, respectful indoors, and enjoys short walks (about a quarter mile at a time). He's polite on leash and doesn't pull. Murphy gets along well with other respectful dogs.
Ideal Home
Murphy is cautious around children. Because of this, we recommend a home with children ages 15+ and dog-savvy who can respect his space. He can also be uncomfortable around men and may need slow, thoughtful introductions. He'd thrive in a quiet home with a fenced yard, where he can explore at his own pace and enjoy time outside with his people.
