Oscar

Meet Oscar, our miracle boy! This sweet 15-month-old pup, weighing in at about 28lbs, is a true testament to resilience. Oscar was found after being hit by a car and thankfully, a kind stranger brought him to safety. Now, he's with us, ready to find his forever family! Despite his past, Oscar is the happiest, most delightful dog you'll ever meet. He's crate and house-trained, a fantastic co-pilot for car rides, and friendly with dogs, cats, and children. He truly loves everyone!

Ideal Home

Oscar would make a wonderful companion for anyone, including an older couple or individual. An adopter who lives close to Atlanta or NE Georgia would be ideal, as he will need to attend physical therapy appointments.

Ongoing Health

Oscar is currently undergoing treatment for an injury to his back leg sustained from being hit by a car. He will need follow-up appointments at UGA until his leg is stronger. This injury doesn't stop him from enjoying running and playing with other dogs! All our pets are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm tested/treated, and on preventatives.

Training & Support

Oscar is already crate and house-trained and gets along well with other animals and children. His positive attitude and love for life make him a joy to be around.

• Our adoption fee is $400.
• We require receipts for 2 consistent years of heartworm preventatives for any owned pets, proof of vaccinations, and a spay/neuter record for adoption approval.

Oscar is currently located in Cumming, Georgia. Transportation can be arranged to approved adopters.
