Takis

Meet Takis, also affectionately known as Taquito! This charming mix, possibly with some heeler in her, is a delightful companion looking for her forever home. Though she may appear larger in photos, she's a petite girl, weighing in just under 30 lbs. At 18 months old, Takis is a bundle of joy and has already proven herself to be a wonderful mother, having successfully weaned her 8 puppies.

Ideal Home

Takis thrives in the company of other dogs and loves to play with her canine friends. She's also gentle with toys, never destroying them. While she's curious about cats, she gives them a polite sniff and then moves on, making her a potentially great fit for a multi-pet household.

Ongoing Health

Takis has been spayed and vaccinated.

Training & Support

Takis is housebroken and exhibits excellent house manners. She's not a chewer, rarely barks, and is not a sloppy drinker. She enjoys her walks, is well-behaved on a leash, and is currently learning basic commands like "sit," "stay," "come," and "off." She responds very well to positive reinforcement, especially treats and affection!
