A little about them
Miss DeeDee is a sweet, playful 3-year-old Silky Terrier mix fostered in Connecticut. She takes time to trust people because of her past, but with patience and cookies, she becomes a devoted best friend who loves being by your side. She enjoys relaxing with you, watching TV, or observing the outdoors.
She is energetic with a high prey drive and can be an escape artist. She must always be on a harness or in a securely fenced yard. DeeDee would do best with someone experienced with small dogs who understands her boundaries and history.
Ideal Home
DeeDee needs to be the only pet in the home. She is not comfortable with dogs, cats, or children, though she can walk near calm dogs and may bark. She does not like having bones taken from her and must agree before being picked up.
Ongoing Health
She is spayed and vaccinated, including being current on rabies. She has vet-related PTSD and needs medication before nail trims or veterinary visits.
