Julia Child is a quiet, gentle soul who prefers observing the world at her own pace, taking comfort in calm spaces and kind voices. She's a 46 lb Carolina Dog x Basenji mix with an estimated birthday of 11/8/22. Julia may not be the first to rush up for attention, but once she trusts you, her soft eyes and sweet presence say everything. She was rescued from the county shelter where she and her babies were scheduled to be euthanized due to overcrowding. Now she's safe and ready to find her forever home!

Transporation

Julia is located in Houston, Texas. Transport is included in the adoption fee and may include pickup locations in nearby towns or states. We coordinate with multiple transport services that operate weekly to Eastern states and bi-weekly or monthly to Western states from Texas. These are ground transports using third-party vehicles converted for dog transport. Adopters can track the van using the Life360 app and will receive updates from transport. Facebook chats are also available for updates on dogs in transport.
