Kiwi A

Meet Kiwi, or as his foster parents affectionately call him, Kai! Kai is a smart and loving pup with a fascinating mix of 50% German Shepherd, 18% Border Collie, 16% Collie, and the rest is classified as Supermutt. He came to us with his two brothers when they were just tiny pups, and while they were all initially quite timid, Kai has truly blossomed. He's a bouncy, playful boy who adores playing with the resident dogs, both inside and out in the yard. Kai is eager to please and a quick learner. He's made amazing progress walking perfectly on a leash in the backyard, staying close to his foster parents and looking to them for direction.

Ideal Home

Kai needs a home with another playful and confident dog to help him continue to gain confidence, and a secure fenced yard where he can explore and play safely.

Ongoing Health

Kai is currently in good health.

Training & Support

The outside world is still a bit scary for Kai, so his foster family is slowly helping him get accustomed to new surroundings and leash walks outside his safe zone. He learns best by watching and following the other dogs in the home. With continued patience and positive reinforcement, Kai has the potential to be an extraordinary companion.
