Dahlia AKA Dottie

Dahlia, a 6½-year-old, 58-lb Pointer mix, has a heart full of love and a gentle soul. She was adopted in 2019 but unfortunately had to be returned when her family moved. Despite these big changes, Dahlia has blossomed, becoming more confident and showing us just how much affection she has to give. She's looking for a patient and understanding person who will give her the time she needs to decompress and feel secure. With the right companion, Dahlia has the potential to become an incredibly loyal and affectionate friend.

Ideal Home

Dahlia would thrive in a home where she can continue to build her confidence. She has lived with children and other dogs before and can do well with them again with proper introductions.

Dahlia is spayed and vaccinated.

Training & Support

Dahlia is housebroken, crate trained, and walks well on a leash. She needs a patient adopter willing to give her time to adjust.
