Maximus is a handsome Lab mix, about 14 months old and weighing 66 pounds. He's a smart, loyal, brave boy who's always up for an adventure! Maximus is a social and playful dog who enjoys the company of other dogs and is eager to bond with his humans. He's discovering the joy of toys and the simple pleasure of being a happy dog. Maximus is ready to be your loyal sidekick, enthusiastic hiking partner, determined couch protector, and best friend.

Maximus was surrendered to us after being attacked by another dog, which led to medical bills his previous owners couldn't cover. He bravely fought through his recovery and is now fully healed, neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on vaccinations.

Transporation

Maximus is an "out of town pet" and is not at our Houston location. He can be transported to you. Our rescue is Houston-based, and all our fosters and Rescue Ranch are in and around Houston. Transport is arranged through AJC Rescue & Transport. Dogs are moved via scheduled air-conditioned/heated vans from our doggy ranch in Fulshear, TX to a location near you. You will be included in a group chat to track your dog during transport and will receive updates on their exact location and estimated arrival time. While drivers do their best to stay on schedule, traffic and weather can affect arrival times. Dogs on transport will have scheduled breaks for bathroom, walks, and food. For safety, all dogs are crated during transport.
