Bambi

Bambi is an adult Boxer mix with a heart as big as her adorable smile. Found as a stray, this sweet girl has truly blossomed since arriving at the shelter. Once she realized she was safe, her silly, affectionate personality came shining through, and now she's ready to find a forever family to call her own. She loves other dogs, though a meet-and-greet with your resident pup is still required. We're unsure how she'd do with cats.

Bambi can be a little nervous when meeting new people, but with a calm, patient introduction, she warms up quickly. Once you've earned her trust, you'll discover a lovable goofball who will keep you smiling with her playful antics and gentle affection.

Ideal Home

Bambi's ideal home is a quieter one with teens and up only, where she can settle in at her own pace without the hustle and bustle of young children. She'd thrive with someone who understands that building trust takes a little time but is so worth the effort.

Bambi is spayed and vaccinated.

Training & Support

Bambi is not yet house-trained. She can be a little nervous when meeting new people, so patience and calm introductions are key to helping her feel comfortable.

Bambi is located at Dessin Animal Shelter in Honesdale, PA. We are open daily from 12 PM to 3 PM. No appointment is needed to meet Bambi.
