Twix

Meet Twix! This handsome 11-month-old Husky mix is around 48 pounds and is ready to find his forever family. Twix is a gentle soul who loves to cuddle with his favorite people. He can be a bit shy and nervous in new environments, especially with loud noises like barking, which can cause him to freeze up. However, he's learning to walk on a leash and can be carried with ease. Twix is also quite vocal and enjoys singing or howling along with his humans! He previously lived with an older male dog and got along well with him, suggesting he could do well with other canine companions.

Ideal Home

Twix would likely do best in a home where he can feel secure and build confidence. Given his sensitivity to barking, a quieter neighborhood might be ideal. He enjoys gentle interaction and cuddles, so a family that can provide him with plenty of affection would be wonderful.

Ongoing Health

Twix is intact and received his vaccinations on 6/24/26. He does not have a microchip.

Training & Support

Twix is still working on his leash walking and can freeze when he hears barking. He is also quite vocal and enjoys to sing or howl. He can be carried with ease. He may just be nervous/stressed in this environment and is not super playful yet, but he does love cuddling with staff. Consistent positive reinforcement and patience will be key to helping Twix thrive.
