MARLOW

Marlow is a hilarious and energetic 15-month-old Border Collie/Lab mix who loves to live life to the fullest! This 75 lb girl is a goofball who will greet you at the door with a smile. She enjoys somersaults, playtime, and is always ready for a game of fetch, tug-of-war, or keep away. While she has an abundance of energy, she can also relax and nap for short periods. Marlow is very smart and knows commands like SIT, LAY DOWN, GO TO BED, COME, EASY, and DROP IT. She's also house-trained and signals when she needs to go outside by ringing bells or barking.

Ideal Home

Marlow would thrive in a home that provides plenty of playtime and attention. She'd love to be a part of the family, a sidekick, or even have a job like agility. She is kid, dog, and kitty-friendly, though she may need to brush up on her manners around very young children. She isn't fond of sharing her toys or food with other dogs and prefers to have all toys and antlers to herself.

Ongoing Health

Marlow has no known separation anxiety, storm anxiety, or other behavioral issues.

Training & Support

Marlow is toy-destructive and will eat the pieces, so tough toys and supervision are an absolute must. She does not chew on furniture, clothing, or any human-related items. She can be gentle with direction, but you must tell her "EASY" when giving her a treat. She is quiet unless alerted by something outside. Her prey drive is high, and she chases birds and cats, and has killed chickens. She is not a fan of being brushed.
