This sweet, 6-month-old bundle of love is ready to find her forever family! Scarlet is a playful, affectionate, and incredibly smart puppy who lights up any room she's in. With her beautiful brindle coat, expressive eyes, and those big floppy ears, she is as adorable as she is eager to please. She is wonderful with children and has been especially protective and gentle with a 4-year-old boy who has some behavior challenges. She naturally calms and works well with him; they're the best of buddies! While she can be a little wary of new dogs at first, she warms up very quickly once properly introduced. She is a pushy, love-bug girl who just wants to be everyone's friend and soak up all the attention. Scarlet is thriving in training class and her trainer says she is one of the best-behaved puppies there! She knows "sit," "leave it," "touch," "go lay down," "wait," and "paw," among other commands. She is kennel trained and sees her crate as her house. She is grooming trained, goes to work with her current family every day, and is making great progress on house training (she gives clear signals when she needs to go out, though she still has occasional accidents if you do not catch her cues). She has lots of pitty energy and loves being outside, though she is still learning to stay calm around loud noises like motorcycles or big trucks. Scarlet is a happy, energetic girl who means well in everything she does. She is loving, loyal, and always looking for snuggles and playtime. She has already shown how protective and in-tune she can be with her kids.
