A little about them
Minnie is a sweet, loving, playful 1-year-old Cattle Dog Mix with abundant puppy energy. At 17 pounds, she loves running, walking, toys, cuddling, and spending time with other dogs. She is shy with new people but responds well to a gentle approach and is ready to build confidence with her forever family.
Ideal Home
Minnie enjoys playing with dogs of all sizes and would do well with a gentle, patient canine companion. She is interested in small animals and may chase and bark at bunnies, squirrels, and birds. Her interactions with cats and children have not been tested; she may do best with calm, respectful older children because loud noises and fast approaches frighten her. An adopter who is home more often than not would be a great match for her energy and affectionate nature.
Ongoing Health
Minnie has healed from a pelvic fracture and is now happily running and playing. She is vaccinated and would benefit from a regular schedule for activity and potty breaks.
Training & Support
Minnie is house-trained, comfortable entering her crate, and sleeps in it overnight. She enjoys training, rides calmly in the car, and will benefit from continued training and socialization. She may bark at strangers passing the yard or when she is excited. Chewy toys may be especially enjoyable for her.
