Diego ¡Ándale! ¡Ándale!

Diego is a 2-3 year old, 62 lb Doberman mix with a spirit as fast as Speedy Gonzales! We suspect Diego is bilingual and understands "¡Ándale! ¡Ándale! ¡Arriba! ¡Arriba!" He was found wandering near a busy road in Houston and is now looking for his forever home. Diego is a playful dog who enjoys car rides and meeting new people. He's generally quiet and observant but needs opportunities to run and play before settling down.

Ideal Home

Diego would thrive in a home with a yard where he can run and play. He needs an adopter familiar with the higher energy of the Doberman breed. He is not a good fit for homes with cats, as he has a strong prey drive and will chase smaller critters.

Ongoing Health

Diego has a docked tail and cropped ears. His ears have scars along the cropped edges, suggesting past infections, but they do not cause him discomfort or require ongoing care. He has received vaccinations and heartworm treatment.

Training & Support

Diego is crate trained and uses his crate as his "off" button. He has been fostered with dogs of all sizes and personalities and avoids conflict. He would benefit from continued opportunities for physical and mental stimulation to keep his Doberman energy managed.
