Chester

Chester is a 4.5-year-old, 8-pound male Chihuahua with a heart full of love and a tail that never stops wagging! He arrived with us last year and, after a period of stabilizing his seizure disorder, he's now ready to find his forever home. Chester only had one seizure since starting medication last summer, and he's doing wonderfully! He's a medium-energy pup who is good on leash and enjoys his time in a fenced yard. He's house-trained with frequent bathroom breaks and crate-trained. Chester is good with other dogs and cats, and would love to have another little dog for company, as he arrived with his friends Kobi and Ponch. He's also great in the car and good with children 12 and older.

Ideal Home

Chester would thrive in a quiet home where his people are home often. He would also love to have another small dog for companionship.

Ongoing Health

Chester has a seizure disorder and requires routine bloodwork every three months (most recent was April 7, 2025) and medication twice a day, which costs approximately $20 per month. His vaccinations will be due again in July 2025. He should also have a dental check-up within the next 1-2 years.

Training & Support

Chester is house-trained with frequent bathroom breaks and is also crate-trained.
