Sebastian, a 9-week-old male Chihuahua/Terrier mix, is a quiet little guy who prefers cozy cuddles over chaos. He's a champion snuggler, gentle, loving, and happiest curled up in your arms. Sebastian and his siblings were found abandoned on the streets of Houston, and he's now thriving in a foster home in Austin, Texas. Despite his small size (currently 3 pounds, but expected to grow), he has a sweet personality that makes a big impression.
Ideal Home
Sebastian is looking for a family committed to helping him grow into a confident, well-mannered adult dog. He's brave and social, and we believe he'll do well with children, cats, and other dogs when introduced appropriately. However, due to his tiny size, any resident pets should be gentle and experienced with very small dogs, and all interactions must be supervised. Because he is so young, Sebastian cannot be left alone for long periods. He needs a home where someone is present more often than not. If you work outside the home for more than 4 hours at a time, we will only consider your application if another adult is available to care for him during the day.
Ongoing Health
Sebastian is a healthy puppy. As his exact breed mix and parentage are unknown, his adult size is a mystery, offering lots of puppy surprises!
Training & Support
Sebastian is still working on potty training and crate training. His new family should be prepared to provide consistent training, frequent potty breaks, positive reinforcement, and plenty of patience. Puppies thrive with structure, routine, and supervision, and Sebastian is no exception.
