He just wants to be with his person, "help" with any task, and proudly clock in for duty like a full-time ranch hand, even if you're just carrying groceries. Cash has an incredibly cool personality; he's smart and eager to please, yet sweet, grounded, and not overly chaotic like some heelers can be. His expressive ears amplify every emotion, his smile is the best, and his soulful presence makes him feel like an old friend from day one.

Ideal Home
Cash would thrive in a calmer environment with plenty of space to roam. He's not the best fit for busy suburban neighborhoods with constant stimulation. He would absolutely love a home in the country or with land, where he can enjoy open spaces, explore the property, "help" with chores, patrol the yard, and then relax.
Cash has done well in a multi-dog home with dogs of various sizes. His play style is more about "chase-me-if-you-can" than roughhousing. He enjoys playing chase but also knows how to regulate himself and settle down. While he coexists beautifully with dogs he knows, he appreciates respectful introductions to new dogs and those that aren't immediately in his face. Cash was also respectful and appropriate around the resident cat, Biggie, and was not bothered by feline antics. We can arrange a cat sleepover upon request.
While sweet, Cash can be a little slow to warm up in new or busy environments. He likes a moment to observe and get comfortable before showing his affectionate, loyal side.
