Bandit AW

Bandit is a sweet and spirited female German Shepherd with a touch of Husky, making her extra special! She was born on July 21, 2025, and currently weighs around 71 pounds. Bandit is full of energy and loves to play, especially with toys that she can de-stuff – her foster family says it often looks like it snowed in South Texas! She's a total sweetheart with people, enjoying snuggles and giving kisses. Bandit is also great with children, though she can sometimes get a little too excited and accidentally knock over the younger ones, but she's quick to apologize with affection. She has a Great Dane best friend, so she can certainly keep up with larger dogs.

Ideal Home

Bandit would thrive in an active family that enjoys playtime and spending time outdoors. She loves to play fetch and chew on bones.

Ongoing Health

Bandit was spayed and microchipped in early March. She is current on all her vaccines and preventions. She was a perfect patient during her procedures and took all her medicine like a champ, especially when it was mixed with tasty wet food.

Training & Support

Bandit is house-trained and uses a doggy door. She is still working on crate training and becoming more comfortable meeting new people. She can be a little reserved initially but warms up quickly with patience, encouragement, and treats.

Bandit is located in South Texas. Local adoption fees are $250. For out-of-state adopters, the fee is $550 and includes transport to your area.
