Buster is a joyful little puppy with an adventurous spirit and a soft heart. He loves exploring, playing, and discovering new things, and he approaches life with an easygoing, happy attitude that makes him incredibly lovable. Beneath all the puppy energy, Buster has a very affectionate and gentle nature. Once playtime slows down, he enjoys relaxing close to his people and soaking up attention. He loves being included and responds really well to kindness and affection. He's still young and learning, but he already shows signs of being a very loving companion who bonds closely with the people around him. He has a happy, goofy charm and is full of potential to become everyones best friend.

Ideal Home

Buster would do well in a home that is ready for all the normal puppy stages, including learning routines, working on training, continuing socialization, and giving him lots of positive experiences as he grows. He would likely enjoy another playful dog companion, but he would also do great as the center of attention in a loving family that wants an active and affectionate puppy to raise.

Ongoing Health

All vetting, including DAPP with booster, Bordetella, and Rabies vaccine, multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, and a 12-month heartworm preventative injectable, is included. He has also received a heartworm test and treatment if needed.

Training & Support

Buster is currently being assessed and behavior is modified as needed with individualized plans to help prepare him for his future family, including crate training, potty training, and leash walking. He benefits from attending group training and socialization play groups to help him stay confident and adoption-ready.

• The adoption fee is $1200 and includes all vetting, a microchip with free lifetime registration, a high-quality nylon Martingale collar, a health certificate deeming the pup healthy for travel, and the cost of transport.
• Due to rising transportation costs, an $87 surcharge applies.

Transportation

Buster is located in Texas. Wags facilitates adoptions nationwide using a USDA-certified transport system. This includes drop-off locations in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada. You can track their journey in real time and connect with fellow adopters through a private Facebook event page. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
